STATUS: Non- Exempt REPORTS TO: Operations Supervisor or ManagerSHIFT/HOURS: M-F Weekends as Needed
PRIMARY PURPOSE: Under general supervision performs a variety of yard duties and preventative maintenance activities to help keep equipment and yard/facility in good working condition.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assemble new units
- Inform Supervisor of material used throughout the day. Report any problems found on equipment throughout the day to supervisor.
- Conducts general facility maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
- Assist with the retrofitting of special or high-end units.
- Occasionally uses forklift for loading and unloading assets (toilets, sinks, etc.)
- Follow all safety rules, utilizes protective clothing and equipment.
- Special/Other projects as assigned by management.
General working knowledge of hand tools. Ability to multi-task and work independently while being safety conscious. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination or education and experience
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to read, write and communicate in English and Spanish.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision & ability to focus. Employee may be asked to work weekends and after hour shifts, i.e., special events/emergency, based on operational necessity.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions (in some cases extreme heat/cold), moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. This position requires employee to travel regularly to offsite work locations and as such use of vehicle will be provided.
