As the UX Researcher you will help lead initiatives and studies that identify who our users are by examining their behaviors, needs, and environment. Through observations, user testing, and analytical data, you will surface user pain points throughout our applications and collaborate with UX designers, Product teams and Business stakeholders, on solving user problems. To best communicate these findings you will conduct research led presentations and workshops, helping team best understand direction and possible proposed solutions. With a strong knowledge in usability, your role will help evangelize and influence the holistic experience of our users.


Provides continuous competitive research, leverages industry resources and market trends and liaise with internal stakeholders.
Builds relationships with cross-functional teams to promote research-based decision-making, influence user needs across various products
Frames user problems, assumptions, predispositions, and validates the effectiveness of proposed solutions
Defines who our users are by examining their needs, goals, and observed behavior patterns
Identifies user-testing opportunities, defines the scope, goals, methodology, and participant criteria
Creates user test scripts that skillfully solicit feedback from users
Documents results and key findings, presents insights and actionable recommendations to stakeholders based on design principles
Leverages data, testing, competitive and comparative experiences and customer insight to constantly iterate on products
Partners with UX designers to test low/high fidelity prototypes for upcoming features
Support the user experience optimization of all existing online properties and Member tools, mobile, email, social media, and other new technology, using business analytics and partnering with other global and regional teams.





Ability to create well-defined user personas to efficiently identify and communicate user needs
Brainstorming user stories designed to provide insights into the customer's journey
Research experience with qualitative and quantitative data analysis
Documenting research plans, discussion guides, and presenting results to non-researchers
A desire to stay current with web trends and standards
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, multitasking and presentation skills
Ability to solve problems and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Highly motivated and organized
Familiar with Lean UX and agile methodologies
Familiar with Design sprint and conducting quick iterative design initiates
Able to create and present presentations based on finding and best practices
Experience conducting field research with activates including user interviews and focus groups


1-3+ years of experience in UX Research and strong knowledge of current web standards, technologies, and trends
Expertise working with a variety of research tools and methodologies
Portfolio of original and breakthrough work with demonstrated documentation of those experiences


Bachelors degree, or equivalent work experience with high school diploma


Familiarity with Lean UX and Agile methodology
Experience with card sorting, content hierarchy, sitemaps
Knowledge of collaborative tools such as Confluence and Trello
