OVERVIEW
The supply chain coordinator is responsible for processing internal purchase requests and ensuring customer and company orders are efficiently and effectively shipped and received.
 
ACCOUNTABLE FOR
The Supply Chain Coordinator is accountable for the consistent flow of goods and materials in a predictable manner
 
ESSENTIAL RESPONSBILITIES:
  • Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders for designated groups
  • Schedule and route shipments in the most cost effective and time efficient manner, both domestically and globally
  • Ensures all transportation conducted in a safe and environmental sound manner and all appropriate regulatory requirements are met
  • Prepare shipping documentation complying with US and foreign customs and tax requirements
  • Ensure all export and import guidelines, rules, and procedures are followed
  • Provide continuous communication with customers, vendors, and coworkers concerning shipments
  • Maintain accurate tracking and documentation for all shipments from start to finish
  • Review sales orders for accurate information based on the purchase orders
  • Review sales orders for shipping terms and payment terms. Send invoices and receive credit approvals from accounting
  • Ensure customer orders are processed in a timely manner
  • Preparing daily and weekly reports for management
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years experience in supply chain/logistics
  • Experience with ERP systems, Amazon Business, Excel, and third-party logistics
