Schedule - Monday- Friday Day shift hours

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Ability to record processes, re-organize to a format required for design transfer (Man/Machine/Environment/tools/fixtures/CTQs)
Ability to communicate between functions/sites effectively in order to meet project deadlines
Ability to see waste in processes and offer opinions for efficiencies within processes
Must understand concepts and impacts to DFMEA, PFMEA
Uses technical knowledge and significant problem-solving ability to conduct investigations of failures/complaints, and ongoing production issues, to determine the root cause
Work with multiple technical disciplines including QA to bring most effective solutions to resolve CAPAs in a timely manner
Provide technical support for released product lines, Manufacturing and Customer Service as required
Simultaneously work on multiple sustaining/product improvement activities and production issues relating to design changes, to understand and manage activities that may impact and interrelate to each other
Create and/or maintain product documentation for investigations, test protocols and reports
Work with vendors and internal resources to develop working prototypes of new products, establish engineering test plans/procedures against designs, and performs functional verification and reporting
Work with manufacturing to bring product designs from the engineering prototype phase to production release, address quality or value engineering issues on current shipping products
Must have a good background in moving designs from R&D to manufacturing
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required in electronic or mechanical engineering or closely related discipline.
Experience in the design and development of manufacturing processes designed to take time with scalability in mind.
Lean manufacturing training is a strong asset
Preferred Qualifications:
5 10 years of professional experience
Must work in a multi-disciplined environment (EEs, MEs, Chemists, Scientists, SW, and FW).
Participate in Peer Design Reviews.
Physical Requirements & Expectations:
Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 20 lbs. unassisted and frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit and stand for long periods of time.
