SUMMER NEEDS
POSITION TITLE Mother and Baby RN Experienced only
ASSIGNMENT DURATION 13 weeks Could extend through the week of labor
WORK SCHEDULE 3p to 11p and 11p to 7a Will consider candidates with a preference for a 12hr and orr a mix of 8 and 12 hr shifts
PLEASE NOTE This position works on a team with RN39s that serve as Labor and Delivery Antenatal and General Women39s Services team members these roles will proactively float in other areas where their skill sets can be utilized as needed
MUST have Mother and Baby experience
BLS certification is required
NRP is required
Each shift the RN39s typically are assigned 3 to 4 patients to care for
Need to be comfortable with starting inductions especially for those patient populations that are in highrisk circumstances
Registered Nurses are responsible for providing nursing care to patients and their families in accordance with the American Nurse39s Association Standards of Professional Nursing Practice Provides primary nursing care for patients and assumes responsibility for other nursing care process by assessment plan of care intervention and evaluation
