Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector

Ensure manufactured products are manufactured, modified and/or reconditioned to industry
and/or company specs using industry standard inspection methods and equipment

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform various inspection activities including but not limited to the following:
1. inspections of products manufactured or modified per industry/company standards;
2. stamping of product identifications;
3. inspections of received raw stock materials/customer supplied product;
4. witnessing of hydro testing activities;
5. final inspections of assembled product for shipment; and
6. conducting in process inspections as instructed etc.
Understand engineering drawings, quality documents and procedures and fill out quality
forms accurately, completely and legibly;
Understand the use of dimensional inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers,
indicators, and thread inspection equipment of all types.
Initiate nonconformance reports on parts and product that do not conform to quality
Maintain, care, and custody of all QA tools and inspection instruments, and all shop
paperwork associated with the QA dept and/or API standards;
Coordinate as needed with QA Supervisor to prioritize daily workload;
Visibly inspect and verify with purchase order's in-coming received materials/product from
outside suppliers per company policy and document items for traceability; check all goods
for damages, and report any discrepancies immediately to Supervisor;
Ensure QA area housekeeping and organization at all times complies with expected
company standards of safety;
Comply with all company and HSE policies and procedures at all times;
Keep accurate time clock records and work overtime only with Supervisor's approval;
Maintain courteous and professional relationships with fellow employees, supervisors,
suppliers, and contractors;
Perform all tasks in a safe, professional, and efficient manner; perform any other tasks as
assigned by Supervisor;
Ensure crane inspections on work area cranes are done per policy; reports turned into
Supervisor on every Monday;
Regular attendance at company safety meetings is expected
