Procurement Technician for NCI Office of Acquisitions

Overall Position Summary and Objectives This position will independently provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the NCI/OA/TSB

DELIVERABLES
  • Roster of Employees Requiring Suitability Investigations – due within 14 calendar days of BPA Order award - Ad-Hoc
  • Reporting of New and Departing Employees – due within 5 working days of staffing changes. - Ad-Hoc
  • Contractor-Employee Non-Disclosure Agreements – due prior to starting work on any nonpublic information - Ad-Hoc
  • Status Meetings - The Procurement Technician I shall participate in various meetings as requested and provide status updates monitoring the performance and progress toward successful completion of this SOW - Ad-Hoc
  • Work products and documents related to assembling necessary data for the award and documentation of a contract; prepare contract file folders - Monthly
  • Work products and documents related to logging contract modifications and contract awards; distribute copies of modifications and award documents - Monthly
  • Work products and documents related to troubleshooting invoice problems; correspond with OFM for resolution of issues - Monthly
  • Work products and documents related to maintaining records on closed contracts and, in accordance with NIH regulations, coordinate shipment of contract files to and retrieval from the Federal Records Centers, coordinate destruction of files - Monthly
  • Work products and documents related to managing timely processing of invoices in the NCI OASYS system for prompt payment - Monthly
  • Work products and documents related to managing timely processing of deliverables in the NCI OASYS system for acceptance - Monthly
STATEMENT OF WORK DETAILS
Assists in the preparation and verification of contracts and associated documentation to prepare a complete contract package.
  • Gather and assemble necessary data for the award and documentation of a contract

  • Prepare, organize and maintain contract file folders
  • Maintain records on closed contracts and, in accordance with NIH regulations
  • Coordinate shipment of contract files to and retrieval from the Federal Records Centers; coordinate destruction of files
  • Coordinate destruction of files identified by the Contracting Office
  • Log contract modifications and contract award; distribute copies of modifications and award documents
