ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Analyze and plan material requirements. Achieve optimal days of supplies level and deliveries.
Interface with suppliers.
Negotiate commitments with suppliers to achieve targeted material availability and quality levels within legal , ethical, and documentation standards.
Perform analytical assignments in one or more areas of configuration management, operations planning and control, requirements planning, inventory control, and all interacting systems.
Monitor supplier delivery commitments.
SKILLS:
Verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical/problem solving skills .
Background in Inventory Management.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word (Windows NT).
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum: 0
Preferred: 3 yrs.
