Job Summary:
Responsible for material handling of products to include validating, receiving, moving, storing, picking, packing, labeling and shipping as required. Other responsibilities included inspecting and accepting incoming shipments of materials against supplier packing lists, bills of lading, and ensuring items have been received satisfactory condition. Outgoing products should be correctly packed, labeled and applicable regulatory compliance documentation created that is required for the shipment (e.g. IATA, CFR, IMDG, etc.) Will also be responsible for updating the Warehouse Management System and support documentation as needed daily and directed by the supervisor/manager.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties:
• Able to operate proactively and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Works well with others, has a desire to cross train subordinates in a similar capacity to accomplish common tasks
• Has the ability to multi-task and detailed oriented
• Respond to Customer Service Representatives and customer order notifications in a timely fashion
• Deliver accurate orders as determined by customer shipping requirements for both domestic and international shipments
• Performs unloading, inspection, storing, picking, issuing, packing, labeling, loading and disposal of inventory items
• Accepts supplier deliveries checking actual items received are in a suitable condition and per the packing list, bills of lading, Invoices, manifests and/or purchase order and reports discrepancies
• Ensures out-going inventory items are suitably packed and issued with correct and complete documentation.
• Optimizes warehouse bin locations to improve efficiency & safety
• Maintains a high level of housekeeping within the warehouse, office and magazines
• Performs inventory cycle counting and supports in periodical physical counts
• Investigates and resolves local inventory & warehouse issues, as requested by internal customer and/or manager
• Ensures compliance with established policies, procedures and standards
• Complies with applicable company policies including, but not limited, to personnel and QHSE
• Required to operate a forklift, or other materials handling equipment, on completion of training and certification
• Required to wear PPE and observe health, safety and environmental policies
• Responsible for the successful completion of required safety training (including but not limited to explosives, forklift, drugs and alcohol, emergency response, fire, first aid, health and hygiene, PPE, SIPP, risk reporting, IT security, hazardous materials, driving)
• Required to maintain training certifications for the performance of daily duties
• Read, interpret, and carry out written and oral instructions
• May be assigned other duties, in addition to, or in lieu of those described above, according to the needs of the warehouse, business and/or company
• Willing to work off hours as needed
