Material Handler

1st Shift

Warehouse Material Handler duties include the receiving of shipments unloading goods stocking materials checking invoice accuracy detecting missing products operating handling equipment such as forklifts and filling orders
Materials Handler II loads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facility Candidate must have the ability to learn MRP and Warehouse Management Systems
The Materials Handler II must have the ability to work under moderate supervision

Essential Functions
Count all products compare to packing slipWarehouse Management System WMS and check all shipments for damage quantity part number accuracy and expiration dates
Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations
Efficiently stack and store merchandise in pallet static cantilever yard and wire storage areasrack
Ensure that the correct number and type of product is picked in WMS Box label andor mark orders as required
Compare quantity labeling and address with order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct in WMS
Accept signature for outbound as necessary
Maintain all equipment in a neat clean and orderly fashion
Operate equipment safely and efficiently while complying with OSHA and company standards
Assist in inventory accuracy and cycle counts
Ensure proper stock rotation
Other duties such as repack or rebox cases per training and storage instructions

High School Diploma or equivalent
At least oneyear warehouse experience
Strong skills and experience using Microsoft Office applications especially Excel and Outlook required
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems preferred
Experience and knowledge of ERP systems and fundamentals of Inventory Shipping and Receiving Cycle Counting and International Customs processes preferred
