GENERAL
Operate machines to produce acceptable product according to Company process.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow all safety policies and procedures
Read assigned production order and fully understand process prior to beginning each operation.
- Verify materials received for each job are correct by comparing material labels to what is called out in the production order paperwork prior to beginning your step.
- Follow up with team leader to verify any questions if necessary.
- Set up job and get a secondary sign-off from another operator or lead before  
starting to run job.  Sign and Date first initial, last name, Date (MM/DD/YYYY), and time per work instruction WI-8.0-1
- Perform operation to acceptable quality standards per process.
- Verify the revision on the drawing (if a drawing exists) matches the production order.
- Accurately complete all documentation such as material requisition sheets, time sheets, in-process inspections and any additional quality documents as required prior to e each job.
- Perform a Final inspection and get a secondary sign-off from another operator or lead prior to finalizing each job per work instruction WI-8.0-1.
- When job is complete, perform a shipment breakdown per the Shipping Breakdown work instruction WI-8.0-3
- Initial and Date anything that you hand write on the production order paperwork.  If an error is made, cross out with a single line only and then initial (first initial, last name) and date.
 
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
 
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English.  Ability to write fill out paperwork and keep track of time in English.  Ability to comprehend written and oral job instructions in English.
 
 
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
 
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.  The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch.  The employee must frequenlty lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
 
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.  The employee may occasionally be exposed to fumes or airborne particles that may be cause irritation but will not be toxic in any way to the best of our knowledge.  The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
