Overall Position Summary and Objectives Under this task order, the contractor will independently provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). The primary objective is to provide services and deliverables through performance of support services. In addition to interactions with my NIMH Admin team to manage orders, recruitments, and travel requests, the lab technician will have the following responsibilities:

STATEMENT OF WORK DETAILS

Prepares and maintains documentation of test results.
  • Create Manage electronic databases animal tissues, antibodies, reagents etc
  • Manage laboratory equipment eg servicing and maintenance, development of training protocols
  • Develop laboratory safety protocols, manage training and related records
  • Prepare and manage animal ethics applications and establish local processes to ensure adherence to approved project requirements

Independently plans, implements, and organizes all activities related to laboratory function.
