POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT: The Project Manager is responsible for managing work and teams to implement and execute marketing/creative campaigns and projects by creating (and maintaining) project plans/timelines, identifying project dependencies, liaising with internal creative-services clients, agency creative professionals, internal creative staff, and multiple vendors on creative requirements, design and production. With a strong background in client service/project management best practices, marketing and event branding, the Project Manager writes creative briefs, directs team members, manages, communicates and updates details from beginning to end, and develops de-briefing documents for future improvements. The Project Manager is a resourceful, highly organized and proactive leader who will manage expectations, coordinate inputs from cross-functional teams, client leads and executives, and will ensure projects are completed, delivered on time, and within budget.DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIESBuild and maintain positive relationships by supporting stakeholders needs, formulate actionable project creative work for internal design team and/or agency, route approvals, and manage both creative resources and stakeholders on track to ensure timelines are met Plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific program or projectDefine and drive multiple concurrent project tasks and milestones within necessary timingEffectively communicate project expectations to agency professionals and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion as the project evolves.Identify, drive, and track resolution of issues and risks Elevate risks to meet project launches and secure senior management approval to move forwardProactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential challenges, and devise contingency plansMaintain constant communication with other stakeholders and creative marketing team membersHave a thorough understanding of the process and exhibit flexibility and creativity to fine tune timelines to project needsRegularly publish project timelines and report key summaries to all stakeholdersCoordinate the efforts of corporate and regional cross-functional team members by providing the team direction and support in order to maintain the projectLead cross-functional team meetings and conduct timely follow-ups to track project deliverables from teamSet and continually manage project expectations and roles throughout project life cycleTrack project budget(s) and develop post mortem documentations.Collect stakeholder feedback and track areas of opportunity for potential process improvements and work with management to refine and meet the needs of a growing department including the creation of tools and templates to facilitate briefing, timeline development, creative reviews and approvals.Work with Worldwide Marketing team to coordinate priorities for sales, event, corporate communication and branding among other projects.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:NoneREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: SkillsStrong interpersonal and team building skills, work well with clients, partners and vendors. Strong organizational abilities, including time and resource management, and strict attention to detail.Independent follow-through ability (attention to detail, monitoring and controlling)Effective negotiation and conflict management skillsKnowledge of integrated marketing and what it takes to get projects done rightDemonstrate strong strategic, analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.Knowledge of project management methodologyAbility to develop and present key requirements pieces including but not limited to: Creative Brief, Project Scope Document, Detailed Specification of Key Business Rules, Sales and Marketing Forecast, Activity Diagrams and Creative Process DocumentationExperience in working with Project Management tools (AtTask/Workfront/MS Project/TeamGantt/Gantter/FastTrack Schedule) Effective written and verbal communication and proofreading skills.Independent follow-through ability (attention to detail, monitoring and controlling).Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook Mac / PC.Knowledge of design applications - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.Knowledge of printing methods and processes.Ability to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity.Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves.Experience6-8 years of account/marketing/brand management experience in design, advertising or related marketing/communications business preferably in a corporate environment or creative agency. Experience implementing various large-scale integrated projects including website, events, product launches, print items, and digital asset management.Experience developing marketing campaigns across all mediums: print, email, video, online, social media. Demonstrated strong customer relationships, creating long-term, loyal partnerships. Experience working for an international company.Experience managing outside agencies/vendors.Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Masters degree in Marketing or Business Administration.Work experience in a corporate environment or creative agency.4 years print production experience.Direct-selling industry experience.Effective public speaking skills.Experience with survey tools and diagramming/mind mapping tools.
