Job Description

The position is a Project Controls Automation Developer which not only supports existing Project Controls BSAPs, but also develops new applications and utilities to support strategic management initiatives and automate Project Controls processes. Eligibility for this position requires US citizenship; successful candidate must provide proof of US citizenship in order to obtain badge access to the site. Candidate must complete security questionnaire and successfully clear site access requirements check. All employees are subject and agree to random drug and alcohol testing as a condition of employment.

Principle responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Working hands-on in Project Controls databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) that includes data model design, advanced query development, indexing, stored procedure and view creation.
Working hands-on with Project Controls related software development efforts that are built using C#.NET, Entity Framework, HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, WebAPI, d3.js and AG Grid
Manage, maintain and troubleshoot Project Controls software systems project-wide; including, but not limited to: Primavera P6, Cloud EVM, SAP and Empower
Applying relevant experience with data analysis techniques to own work and in leading the work of others
Standard and custom report development (SSRS, Power BI, HTML5) to support Project Controls needs
Perform ad-hoc data analysis and reporting of project performance and other data as directed by management with a focus on EVMS compliance and measurement
Track and manage Software Quality Assurance requirements as pertains to Project Controls automation tools
Provide usability, technical, work process, integration and administrative support for Project Controls tools and utilities

Basic Qualifications:
Must possess at least a BS/BA degree from an accredited university with at least 10 years of relevant experience or, in lieu of a degree, must have over 15 years of directly related professional experience Be a US citizen
Be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check which includes verification of employment and education
Be able to obtain site security badge for access to work site
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project requirements
Experience performing statistical analysis, and computer operations
Skilled in understanding technical processes and interpreting technical requirements
Advanced skills in oral and written communication
Proven attention to detail and quality focused
Experience with DOE or major EPC project principles and procedures
Basic level understanding of Project Controls general technical skills.
Basic level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup work processes, as performed by Bechtel
Advanced competencies in Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle administration
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, direct, perform, review, and present products independently with minimal supervision using a high level of professional judgment
