The HR COVID Response Coordinator will serve as a primary point of contact for Herbalife employees who are required to be in quarantine or isolation because of a potential exposure to or positive COVID-19 diagnosis. This role will support various HRBPs across multiple work sites.


• Manage the intake process for confirmed COVID cases and close contacts
• Responsible for contact tracing in partnership with the Safety department
• Responsible for employee exposure and facility exposure communication
• Track cases and provide status updates
• Coordinate onsite testing at the work site in the event of an outbreak
• Report outbreaks to the local County Dept of Public Health
• Coordinate with Tapfin, Safety, Facilities on cases and follow-up with employees their return to work
• Work closely with HR Business Partners, Safety and Security, Facilities and Legal in all specialty areas to coordinate guidance and communication
• Coordinate with leave administrator on time off under CA Supplemental Sick Pay and CAL/OSHA regulations
• Research latest developments and agency guidance on COVID-19
• Ensure Herbalife remains compliant with local, state, and federal requirements





• Ability to problem solve and carry out responsibilities under general supervision.
• Ability to travel to any of the local Los Angeles based offices as needed
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of common HR practices.
• Approachable with excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a team player while maintaining a high degree of customer service and confidentiality.
• Ability to prioritize job tasks in order of changing priority and in a deadline driven, fast paced work environment.
• High degree of integrity; able to handle confidential information with absolute discretion.
• Strong initiative (drive, sense of urgency) and flexibility.
• Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy including data entry and mathematical aptitude.
• Strong organizational, administrative skills and the ability to multi-task. Ability to meet deadlines and follow direction.
• Excellent time management skills and a demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Adaptable and comfortable with change, focused on continuous Improvement.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Must be flexible with work schedule due to business demands, including evenings and weekends


• 5 years prior work experience in an administrative role, preferably HR administrative support or similar role which requires a need for confidentiality and discretion.


• Associate or bachelor's degree


• Bilingual in Spanish
