The Denials Specialist is responsible for analyzing, researching, and coordinating the prevention and resolution of all denial types. The Denials Specialist is an expert in all areas of Revenue Cycle: scheduling, registration, coding, insurance billing and follow-up, appeal vendor workflow, and all insurance carrier contracts and policies. The Denials Specialist also possess the ability to thoroughly and tactfully articulate root causes to fellow Revenue Cycle colleagues so operational leaders can effectively implement denial prevention strategies.
