The Most Important Part:

o Evaluate any new or revised jobs for the client groups and determine appropriate salary grade, FLSA classification and/or salary adjustments.
o Administer rewards surveys for benchmarking our internal pay practices
o Annual pay increase and bonus payout administration
o Ensure the effective maintenance, upgrading and data accuracy of the organization's pay systems, working with the HRIS team on data gathering and reporting

Operating as part of the HR Total Rewards team, this person will be responsible for day-to-day activities related to compensation, annual merit and bonus administration and project management. In addition to interacting throughout the HR organization, this role will require regular interaction with employees, managers and senior leadership. This position will perform the following (but not limited to) responsibilities:
Review and approve salary actions for adherence to the organization's pay administration guidelines.
Evaluate any new or revised jobs for the client groups and determine appropriate salary grade, FLSA classification and/or salary adjustments.
Resolve compensation issues working with human resources and managers.
Conduct ongoing analysis to support market pricing and assist company leaders in making informed, competitive compensation decisions.
Identify and participate in compensation surveys to ensure we have the highest quality market data possible to benchmark our internal pay practices.
Ensure the effective maintenance, upgrading and data accuracy of the organization's pay systems.
Work with and support HRIS with various levels of data gathering and reporting (internal and external).
Participates in review of escalated issues related to pay changes, incentive increases or other compensation related activities.
Serve as day-to-day US contact for *** ESPP program; support Shareholder Services in Paris with US employee shareholder matters.
Collaborates with stakeholders in identifying, developing and implementing programs that address the transformational needs of the organization.
Develops methods for supporting innovation and change across the organization.
Annual Merit and Bonus (Pay Planning) Administration:
Conduct analysis to support recommendation of market competitive merit increase budget to senior leadership, prepare and maintain tools and resources for managers to document performance ratings and allocate performance-based merit increases.
Leads the execution and creation of the annual pay planning project plan and deadlines in collaboration with HRIS and Cluster Compensation teams.
Develops and communicates annual pay planning procedures to management and employees, to include drafting user guides and related training.
Assists in developing plan documentation for annual bonus plans.
Documentation of Processes, Procedures and Plans:
In conjunction with Employee Labor Relations, maintain and update policy and procedure documents for compensation plans, ensuring compliance with all legislative, procedural requirements, and best practices.
Communicate, analyze and recommend changes to all compensation documentation, policies and practices.
Evaluate the organization's jobs using job descriptions to determine internal equity, grade assignments, exemption classification compliance and eligibility of variable pay plans.
Project Management:
Manages key projects according to strategic goals and initiatives.
Works with Manager and Sr. Director on various compensation related projects such as revamping and improving internal banding, salary structure design and analysis and expanding the market-pricing discipline.
Other special projects as needed and requested.
BS / BA in Human Resources, Business or other related field required.
CCP preferred.
Must have a minimum of 5+ years of successful, results-oriented experience in compensation, preferably within a corporate compensation department in a global, highly-matrixed organization.
Experience and comfort working in a fast-paced and empowered environment.
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and act with a sense of urgency.
Experience in developing and running basic queries and reports from human resources information systems (HRIS).
Experience with Google suite of products and proficiency with spreadsheet tools and formulas (vlookups, pivot tables, data analysis, charting, etc.).
Experience partnering with and advising management on all aspects of compensation plans.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as policies and procedures manuals, job descriptions, and bonus plans.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
Analytical and conceptual ability necessary to evaluate internal and external data, balancing the needs of customers and management within budgetary constraints, company guidelines, policies and government regulations.
