Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations including working with engineers in setup and calibration tasks as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts components subassemblies and final assemblies Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct online adjustments to products instruments or equipment Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process Works with engineers in conducting experiments

Responsibilities include but are not limited to
bull Assembles and repairs various highly complex technical electromechanical assemblies
bull Tests the functionality of equipment or subassemblies
bull Familiar with standard production concepts practices and procedures within the manufacturing field such as Lean and ISO
bull Cross training of processes within product line and across product lines
bull Works on assignments that are semiroutine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required
bull Normally receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments
bull Must follow procedures photodocs to meet quality specifications for each job and not deviate from procedures
bull Assists engineering staff in refining assembly protocols and design of equipment and fixtures
bull Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish dailyweekly goals
bull Works under general supervision a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
bull Working in a clean room environment

Basic Qualifications
23 minimum measurable requirements
bull High school diploma or GED Equivalent required
bull Associates degree or equivalent years of experience a plus
bull 24 years of experience of assembling in a manufacturing environment
bull Experience in soldering

Preferred Qualifications
bull Prior experience in a GMP manufacturing environment is required
bull General understanding of machinery and mechanics is advantageous
bull Lean manufacturing experience a plus
bull General computer skills and experience with MS Office WordExcel
bull Excellent verbal and written communication skills requires interaction with managers supervisors engineers and other hourly associates in a fast pace environment
bull Knowledge of SAP or similar a plus
bull ISO knowledge a plus
bull Basic knowledge of engineering drawings
bull Assembler experienced working with complex electromechanical assemblies and instrumentation
bull Excellent manual dexterity to work on complex intricate assemblies
bull Must follow procedures for all work orders photodocs
bull Work safely and maintain a safe environment
bull Produce quality work with ontime delivery expectations
bull Minimize waste and maintain inventory in the work cell
bull Participate in 5s and LEAN activities
bull Work with team to drive continuous process improvements
bull Assist with new product development

Physical Requirements amp Expectations
bull Lift carry push and pull up to 40 lbs unassisted and frequently bend stoop twist climb crouchsquat kneelcrawl sit and stand for long periods of time
bull Be able to reach at above and below shoulder level flexextend neck and have good hand and finger dexterity
bull Specific vision abilities required by this job may include color close vision distance vision peripheral vision and depth perception
